This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,950, based on three 12-hour night shifts per week. Key Responsibilities of the MedSurg Float RN:

Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple MedSurg units
Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning
Manage diverse patient populations with varying acuity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Respond to rapid changes in patient status
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Float as assigned based on facility needs

Requirements of the MedSurg Float RN:

Active Massachusetts RN license (or ability to obtain)
BLS, CPR and ACLS required.
Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg experience
Ability to adapt quickly to different unit workflows
Strong assessment and communication skills
