Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoon Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience; telemetry experience required License: Massachusetts RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly required Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment Permanent address must be included in profile All requested time off must be included in profile Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified before submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers must be available for two holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day) and surrounding days. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Profiles submitted without the required Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License will not be considered. Specific interview dates and times of availability must be added to the profile; "anytime" will not be accepted. Travelers residing within a certain distance of the facility will not be considered. Unit size varies between 20 to 34 beds, and the patient ratio is 1:6, typically. Travelers must be willing to float to any Medical Surgical unit. The client does not consider block scheduling. All scheduling requests must be made at the point of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. Travelers must meet the profile requirements and provide all necessary documentation. Every other weekend and holidays are required if needed.
