Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Nights

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (18:45–07:15) | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Float to other departments on a rotational basis as needed
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Utilize electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is beneficial

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate Compact RN license
• Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Verification of demographics through Nursys
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must be a team player and willing to float to other departments in rotation
• Requested time off must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
