Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage a diverse patient population including diabetic, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, DVT, wound care, post-surgical, and ETOH cases
• Administer and monitor medications including Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin
• Operate and monitor CPAP equipment; support BiPAP management on night shift
• Practice Primary Care Nursing while maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction
• Float to acute care, cardiology, or other designated units as needed to support patient care

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience in a high-acuity, larger acute care setting (no Critical Access Hospital experience accepted)
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio in a high-turnover, fast-paced environment

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with dialysis patients, wound care, debridements, and amputations
• Background in facilities with similar acuity, volume, and pace to a large acute care hospital
