Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (up to 1:6)
- Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated telemetry unit
- Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and the emergency department for acute care patient holds
- Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information and care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Comfort with floating across acute care and cardiology settings
