Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (0645 start) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation with Permanent Staff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Monitor telemetry and manage patients on BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger ventilatory support as applicable
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other designated units as needed
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, respiratory therapy (24/7), and pharmacy (24/7) to coordinate patient care
• Participate in on-call low census requirements and remain flexible with changing assignments during the shift
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS or NIHSS certification required (Med/Surg)
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, or Acute Care units
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a multi-unit hospital environment
• Experience working with PICC lines
