Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse within a Medical-Surgical Float Pool setting at a large academic medical center
• Float to various Medical-Surgical units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital (with passing competency test score) or 2 years of experience (no competency testing required)
• Competency assessment must be completed within 24 hours of submission
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience in a large academic hospital setting
• Prior float pool experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across multiple units
