Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards throughout the unit
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a qualifying Compact license
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg setting
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care environments
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in fast-paced hospital settings
