Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient cardiac status
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of Medical Surgical experience within the past 3 years
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated telemetry interpretation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Familiarity with telemetry unit workflows and acuity levels
