Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care for patients on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
- Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies, monitoring for complications and supporting airway management
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with skills applicable to ENT and head and neck surgical patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies
- Background in ENT, bariatric, or head and neck surgical nursing
