Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, head and neck, and bariatric surgery cases
- Care for patients with complex airway needs including tracheostomies and laryngectomies
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate pre- and post-operative patient care
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, ensuring timely interventions and documentation
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience as a skilled surgical RN
- Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies
Preferred Experience / Skills- Background in ENT, head and neck surgery, or bariatric surgery nursing
- Familiarity with complex airway management in a post-surgical setting
