    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

    Location

    Atlanta, GA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a complex medical unit managing conditions such as complicated UTI, pneumonia, sepsis, pancreatitis, and altered mental status
    • Manage and care for patients with tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and peritoneal dialysis as needed
    • Perform IV starts and PICC line management
    • Conduct neurological assessments using the NIHSS scale
    • Support research unit activities for a portion of the monthly schedule, including clinical observation and documentation protocols
    • Transition between research-focused and complex medical patient assignments within the same unit
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Strong Medical/Surgical nursing skills and experience with complex patient populations
    • Proficiency with tracheostomy care
    • Ability to perform NIHSS assessments
    • Competency in IV starts and PICC line management
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with peritoneal dialysis
    • Prior experience in a research or academic medical setting
