Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving an adolescent to geriatric patient population
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and manage a variety of medical surgical diagnoses
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR protocols
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard unit schedule
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday work requirements per contract assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or post-onsite
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with remote telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with high-census environments; unit operates a 38-bed floor with an average daily census of 33
• Experience working in a travel nursing capacity with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
