    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

    Location

    Austin, Texas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | No Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
    • Monitor and assess post-surgical patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
    • Collaborate with RN and LVN team members to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during night shift hours
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
    • Operate standard medical equipment including IV pumps and telemetry monitoring devices
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Experience with telemetry monitoring
    • Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
    • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Med/Tele setting
    • Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols
    • Experience working in a fast-paced unit environment with diverse patient populations
