Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Monitor and assess post-surgical patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with RN and LVN team members to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during night shift hours
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
- Operate standard medical equipment including IV pumps and telemetry monitoring devices
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Med/Tele setting
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols
- Experience working in a fast-paced unit environment with diverse patient populations
