Director of Nursing Surgical Service Benton, AR 72015 | Full-Time | $100,000 $150,000
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing Surgical Services to lead our surgical services division. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a seasoned nursing professional ready to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and outstanding patient outcomes across a comprehensive surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Surgical Services, including PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, Gastroenterology, and Surgery departments
- Oversee, mentor, and manage a large nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff performance
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
- Monitor departmental budgets, staffing models, and performance metrics
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold accreditation standards
- Champion a culture of safety, quality improvement, and professional development
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Arkansas
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Director-level nursing role
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree strongly preferred (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA)
- Clinical background in PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, Gastroenterology, and/or Surgery
- Proven experience managing 60 or more FTEs
