Contract | Days | Every Other Holiday | 2 out of 6 Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse reactions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a qualifying compact state
• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift, including 2 out of every 6 weekends and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
