Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Neurosurgery/Neuroscience unit serving post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 in an 18-bed unit environment
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Adhere to unit dress code, including navy blue scrubs and no artificial fingernails
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro and/or Neurosurgery nursing
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patient populations
Familiarity with neuroscience-specific equipment and protocols
Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced clinical environment
