Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed General Medicine unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Administer medications and treatments using Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA) protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care
Float to other units within the acute care division as needed
Adhere to facility dress code standards, including navy blue scrubs and TJC/CMS-compliant attire requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and BCMA
Strong time management and interdisciplinary communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for General Medicine patient populations
Demonstrated professional, adaptable, and patient-centered approach to care
