Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Alternating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using the facility's electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Demonstrated ability to float to additional units as needed
