Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Ortho (4 West, Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics/Post-Op unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Conduct bedside shift report at the start of each shift
• Manage care for surgical and post-operative patients in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility dress code, including navy scrubs and natural nail requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Strong time management skills, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
• Ability to perform bedside shift report

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Med/Surg, orthopedics, or post-operative care
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit environment
• Quick critical thinking skills and confident clinical decision-making
