Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Orthopedics (4 West)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Orthopedics and post-operative unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Conduct bedside shift report at the start of each shift
• Care for surgical and post-operative patients in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility dress code, including navy scrubs and natural nail requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Strong time management skills, positive attitude, and reliable attendance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Medical/Surgical, orthopedics, or post-operative nursing
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit environment
• Quick critical thinking skills and demonstrated confidence in clinical decision-making
