Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12 (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Care for med/surg and post-operative surgery patients with a focus on quality and compassionate outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using Cerner EMR
- Float to other units as needed based on house staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient management
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, or Post-Operative nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Strong time management skills in a fast-paced med/surg environment
