Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every 4th weekend required | No on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an acute care Medical Surgical setting with telemetry monitoring
- Support progressive care and swing bed patients within a 20-bed unit
- Perform IV starts and comprehensive nursing assessments
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for acute care and 1:10 for swing bed patients
Required Qualifications- Active Indiana RN licensure (must be attached at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Proficiency in IV starts, nursing assessments, and telemetry
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not accepted
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required at submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum 3 years of RN experience in an acute care or Medical Surgical setting
- PALS certification
- Experience managing ICU drips
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
