Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Up to 2 Weekends Per Month | Holiday Availability Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated float RN, rotating between Stepdown and Medical Surgical units based on patient volume and acuity
• Provide direct patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5–6, varying by unit and acuity
• Maintain flexibility to float between units as required throughout the contract period
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Work 2 of the 3 major holidays within the contract period; no holiday time-off requests will be considered
• Adhere to facility dress code: all white or all navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Multistate (Compact) license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be AHA-issued, current, and valid through the duration of the contract)
• Recent proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible; driver's license required for address verification prior to any offer acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both Stepdown/Telemetry and Medical Surgical settings
• Demonstrated adaptability in high-census, float pool, or multi-unit environments
• Strong familiarity with varying patient acuity levels across unit types
