Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care with a patient ratio of 1:6
- Manage care for adult patients and occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using MedHost EMR
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
- Participate in census flex on-call as needed prior to scheduled shift start when census is low
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be registered with the state of New Mexico (required for fingerprinting process)
- Ability to float and accept census flex on-call assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Prior experience with MedHost EMR
