Registered Nurse (RN) – Swing Bed / Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Floating and on-call required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care within a Swing Bed unit setting
- Deliver direct patient care within a 15-bed unit at a patient ratio of 1:8
- Float to other units within scope of practice and clinical competency, including Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical units
- Participate in census-based on-call as needed prior to scheduled shift start when census is low
- Document and manage patient care using the MedHost electronic medical records (EMR) system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be eligible and able to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements prior to assignment start
- Ability to float to Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical units within clinical competency
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of RN experience preferred
- Prior experience in a Swing Bed or skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
- Familiarity with MedHost EMR system
