Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Utilize unit equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs in daily patient care
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participate in unit float rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Demonstrated compassion and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to wear required uniform (navy scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in orthopedic or spine nursing
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Previous travel nursing experience
