Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to medical/surgical adult inpatients, including orthopedic, neuro-surgical, and Level 1 trauma patients
- Prioritize zero-harm principles, patient safety, and delivery of quality care
- Manage patient pain effectively and in a timely manner
- Conduct proactive rounding to assess and address patient needs
- Perform bedside hand-off to ensure continuity and accuracy of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in a medical/surgical inpatient setting
- Demonstrated ability to care for adult inpatient populations
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with orthopedic, neuro-surgical, or Level 1 trauma patients
- Familiarity with pain management protocols in an acute care environment
