Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical unit patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care, discharge instructions, and health management
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to work night shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
