Night Shift Travel Nurse – Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 36 hours/week | Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and manage a patient assignment on a 3-lead (Masimo) telemetry unit
• Follow the 5 Rights of Medication Administration to ensure patient safety
• Provide wound care in accordance with physician orders
• Document accurately and consistently according to facility policy
• Perform patient admissions and discharges per established orders
• Apply critical thinking skills to assess and respond to changing patient conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state eligibility
• Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
• Ability to complete telemetry competency during orientation
• Strong documentation skills in compliance with hospital policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working on a telemetry or step-down unit
• Familiarity with Masimo monitoring systems
• Previous travel nursing experience
