Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Manage and treat common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infectious conditions
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Paragon EHR system
Fulfill weekend float requirements as part of the unit's staffing model
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Joint Commission Accredited facility that includes a Chest Pain Center
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Willingness to fulfill weekend float requirements
No on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with the Paragon EHR system
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
Familiarity with conditions such as COPD, CHF, hypertension, and chest pain management
