Certifications/Licences:
- ACLS*, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
- RN Medical Surgical Oncology
- Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Chemo certification is required.
- Certifications Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
- Preferred Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- COMPUTERIZED CHARTING: EPIC experience required
- Skills Required:
- MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
- Telemetry monitoring
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response Teams
- Feeding tube care and management
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- Peripheral line care/management
- PICC line management
- Nasal cannula administration
- Central line sterile dressing changes
- Chemotherapy administration
