Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke Unit during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and stroke-related patient conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications- Active Florida state RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
- Demonstrated stroke unit experience (must be reflected in submission)
- AHCA compliance required for all Florida-based travel assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
- Familiarity with acute stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
