Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a consistent schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification
- Experience working in a high-volume acute care or hospital environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
