Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit within a full-service acute care hospital
• Monitor and assess patients in an observation status, identifying changes in condition and responding appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee or a compact state license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and quality measure initiatives
• Previous travel nursing experience
