Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Accurately document patient information and care activities within the facility's electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Permanent address located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records platform
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
