Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a high-acuity Medical Surgical Urology unit
- Manage patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7 with confidence and clinical competency
- Administer and monitor Insulin and Heparin drips proficiently
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and standards
- Participate in pre-start orientation and complete required pre-start modules prior to first shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license (compact or AL state license) in good standing at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with demonstrated high-acuity competency
- Proficiency with Insulin and Heparin drips required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (documented Religious or Medical exemption accepted)
- Flu shot required (documented Religious or Medical exemption accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis is a plus, though not required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Experience in large healthcare facility settings
