Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient information and care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team workflows
