Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start date (submissions with pending ACLS may be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital setting
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to float to other units as needed
