Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Schedule Varies)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an acute medical/surgical unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Experience in an acute care inpatient setting
