Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Durant, OK | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Work night shift hours across Med Surg floors totaling over 70 beds combined
- Float between units as required to meet staffing needs
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-census Medical Surgical environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to floating assignments across units
