Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients on general telemetry, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
Required Qualifications- Active Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working with Cerner EMR system
- Background in a combined Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit setting
