Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18–20 bed Spine/Med-Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio supported by an LPN
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs across day shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based Medical/Surgical experience
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
• ACLS certification
