Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekend and holiday requirements apply
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing general medical patients including those with sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, CHF, and related diagnoses
Titrate drips including insulin and heparin infusions as required
Monitor telemetry independently using a centralized remote monitoring system accessible via Ascom app; ability to read strips preferred
Collaborate with CNA support staff (1 CNA per 10–14 patients) and coordinate care within the unit
Float within the regional hospital network as needed, supporting additional facilities within the designated region
Adhere to unit-specific orientation requirements and maintain compliance with dress code standards
Required Qualifications
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure
Current AHA BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Ability and willingness to float to other facilities within the regional network as needed
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
2+ years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
BSN degree preferred
Experience reading telemetry strips independently
Familiarity with titrating insulin and heparin drips
