TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Florence, South Carolina, 29505!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including participation in rapid response situations
- Administer medications including insulin and perform telemetry monitoring as required
- Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Participate in on-call availability for low census situations on a PRN basis
- Document all patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Insulin administration, and Rapid Response
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Experience in MS/Tele or combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry environments
