Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3/2 Split Schedule (alternating 4-shift and 3-shift weeks) | Alternating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients each shift
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes and safety
• Adhere to unit protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies throughout each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility (travel assignment requirement)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage a 6:1 patient ratio effectively and independently
