Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Weeknights)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license or valid Multistate (Compact) RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel placement
- All required certifications must be submitted with application; applicants not meeting requirements will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
