Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Weeknights) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
- Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and standards of nursing practice
Required Qualifications- Active Alabama RN license or valid Multistate (Compact) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
- Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
