Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 13 Weeks | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Maintain an expected RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner within the facility's systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Arkansas or through compact licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Medical Surgical specialty experience required
• Must live outside the local area — local candidates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced Med Surg environment with higher patient ratios
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly acclimate to new facility workflows and systems
• BLS and any additional certifications relevant to Medical Surgical nursing
