Registered Nurse II – Medical Surgical

Fort Bragg, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within a general acute care Medical/Surgical unit
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Provide care for a mixed medical and surgical patient population, maintaining appropriate patient mix ratios
• Document and manage patient information using EPIC electronic health records (required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• Demonstrated EPIC electronic health record experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
• Experience working in a mixed Medical/Surgical patient population environment
